I have been to so many FWF over the years. I LOVE it! The one thing I wish they had is a "meal card" where you can get one item from each showcase for one price. It does not have to include drinks. As it is, if I bought one thing at each showcase at an average of $4 a plate, it would cost me $112. That is a lot for a little taste. But I can't resist going anyway.

Ha--love the tray idea. I always think it's abominable that they give you a bunch of tiny unstackable dishes that you then have to cart a mile away to the next table. Last time I took my own take-out container I liberated from the resort food court and collected the food in that.

Great podcast and now I'm really excited to be going to the Food & Wine Fest. But, we're going to be there on the last weekend of the festival. I know weekends are busy, but I wonder if it will be too busy to enjoy. It will be just me and my hubs, so no kids to worry about. Is there any difference in crowds on Saturday or Sunday or does it matter?

Sorry to be such a picky person, but the picture appears to be the Crispy Shrimp Taco from Mexico and not the Cosmo Slush and Milk Chocolate Creme Brulee.

On another note great podcast. I just wish there were more of them.

We have the Disney Deluxe Dining plan, which we have done one other time in combo with the Food & Wine Festival. It is a lot of food, but we typically schedule several days and only do the two meal plan dining options and only one meal each festival day. That way we get an A-list eating experience for less and can still use our snack credits for the kiosks. By the way, I am all for the tray idea, but my husband vetoed it immediately when he saw my face light up as though I would be headed straight to Target. Great tips and love the book on the festival. This is our favorite Disney event and we can't wait.
